(1939 – 2019)
On Friday, June 7th, 2019, Robert McCook, Jr., the Founder of Priority One peacefully went home to be with our Lord and Savior, after fighting a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s. He was 79.
Bob’s vision of how the transformation of the life of a man could affect generations was lived out and continues to this day with the growth and influential expansion of Priority One Foundation. Ironically, as he sought to introduce Jesus Christ into the lives the men, he became the example of the “effect of one man” for the Area Directors of Priority One to follow as they continue to carry the message and share the passion that Bob did when P1F started in 1985.
He was the beloved husband of 59 years to Maureen E. (King) McCook. In addition to his loving wife, Bob is also survived by his children; Lisa M. McCook, Peter J. McCook and his wife Julie, and David P. McCook and his wife BethAnn; and his sister Muriel Wieland and her husband Karl. He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren; Catherine E., Nicolas R., Elizabeth M., Andrew R., Sarah M., Abigail V. and Joshua D.
