BACKGROUND
Dan was born in Michigan and has lived in Charleston since 2008. He has been part of the Real Estate industry since he was 22 years old. Dan started in Mortgage lending and now owns Ocean Realty which helps clients buy, sell, and lease residential property. He has been married to his amazing, loving spouse Julie since 2001. They have a beautiful daughter named Summer who was born in 2012. Dan found the Lord on top of a mountain in North Carolina around 2010, thanks to his co-worker, Kevin Brookes, who invited him to a Men’s Hike Retreat. Dan then got plugged into one of Bud Carpenter’s men’s groups with Priority One. Dan has been faithfully attending the group for over 14 years. Fast forward, and now Dan is part of Priority One Foundation. Before Jesus he was searching for the meaning of life all over the place and was taking in everything life could offer only to find emptiness, sadness, and frustration. The enthusiasm and joy Dan has for the Lord is intoxicating, and you will notice it when with him. He shares his “prodigal” story with anyone willing to listen. Dan’s story is a redemptive story that has delivered him through his past, and now he is sharing the Gospel with people all around. Praise Jesus!
Daniel’s INTERESTS
Family is a high priority for me. I enjoy spending time with my wife Julie, whether it is a simple walk together, or running errands, I just enjoy being with her. We try to do dating nights whenever possible. I also enjoy my daughter Summer and watching her grow up. We have fun as a family going to Regatta’s and watching her compete in sailing races all over the country. Like my daughter, sailing is a big interest for me. We belong to the College of Charleton sailing school and try to sail at least once a week. This has made a great time and opportunity to share sailing and fellowship all together. Prioritizing God in my life and sharing the “Good News” with others has been a high priority. When you understand how much love God has for us, and how much he desires a relationship with us, you simply gravitate to learning more about Jesus; therefore, studying the word is big interest to me.
